Looking for a mature competitive team that is relatively organized and practices on a regular basis. I don't have any competitive experience, but I am willing to learn and grow. I am typically available in the evenings around 10pm (830pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday) EST and later and I can...
Ironically, the current mode is TC. In the last 10 games, most of them ended in a knock out. In each game, I played exactly how I suggest above. There was even a few games where I mostly just rode tower whole time while the team did the splating. I of course took out a few whIle I was in the...
Some thoughts.
As already mentioned, if you have a 4v2 or better situation you should probably be pushing the objective.
Unless you get past a choke point and have a winning lead, you shouldn't stop pushing the objective when you have an opportunity to do so. I don't know how many times I have...
One other thing to add to darktempura's comment (and yes, I know I am stating the obvious), each time you splat another player, not only are preventing them from covering more ground, but you are also covering that immediate area with your color.

The ranking...
Not sure if anyone has already mentioned this, but I had this issue after using the joycons and then switching to the pro controller. After resetting the camera with the pro controller it worked fine. Another time I had a similar issue and I had to recalibrate the controller in the settings.
Squid Parties ruin the game. Period. I bought the game to play and enjoy the game the way it was intended. I don't get a whole lot of time to play the game and I use it as a way to destress from the day and wind down. So when someone ruins a match by AFKing, Squid Partying or some other...
If you can find a used copy of Splatoon and you already have the Wii U, then yeah, pick it up. It will at least get you familiar with the mechanics of the game while you wait to get Splatoon 2. But you don't already have a Wii U and you can't find the game for cheap, I wouldn't bother.
I put the game down for a while and came back while I wait to get Splatoon 2. Now that I am playing in S rank again, I feel like I am playing with and against A/A+ ranked players. I remember how frustrating it was to play through the A/A+ rank before because of all the bad players who either...
