Late reply, but personally I prefer these romanizations. They're more in line with modern romanizations for Asian fonts (especially Japanese), which could help people who already know those figure Inkling pronunciation out more easily.

I'd say sorting by topic like that would be the best way to go about it. I mean, from personal experience, most foreign language books pick a topic for each chapter and introduce words pertaining to such, so I don't see why this should be any different.

What sorts of categories would you be using?

My favorite ranked mode is Splat Zones, mostly because they feel like mini Turf Wars. That and they give opportunities to charge specials without being splatted within two seconds of charging one up (most times).
