I like Splat Zones, but it's hard to say why for sure. I think I just enjoy the intensity of close-quarters combat

I ran into Fartbox a couple of times in Salmon Run. Also saw FartNoise once

Kinda been said already, but something I've always wanted was for something to do while waiting in the queue for enough players to start a match. Maybe make it so players can recon a map together while waiting, without the constraints of a match. Would be much better than staring at the screen...
