Honestly seeing your points going up by covering a lot of terrain at once is the most satisfying thing to me.
Also, splatting someone with the Inkzooka.
System seller? Definitely. But to the levels of MK8, Smash? Nope.
I believe that the series will be more of a system seller in future installments, though.
I agree, particularly in the warehouse, I felt I was the only one that paid attention to those little spaces that indeed can help your team in the long term.
However, the "c'mon" message on the D-pad can be pretty helpful. It's underused at this time though.
I think the reviews will be positive to mixed, but nothing negative. Overall I expect a 75/100.
Like, all the pre-release stuff I've been seeing is positive, but the "incomplete" state of the game at launch and no voice chat may have huge weight on some reviewer's opinions.
Wow, that was fun!
Finally getting the hang of the game. After losing constantly on the last testfire, this time I won more and even got 12 splats (while not being splatted once) :D
The Splattershot is my new main weapon, it's really good
That was an interesting read.
It's funny how the squid idea came much later than the ink concept, and that they thought of rabbits as characters before the squids.
Hmm, yeah, maybe with updates they will be accessible.
Hair salon is a nice idea, minigames such a target test-type thing or a obstacle course would be amazing too. It'd be like Splatoon borrowed Target Smash and Race To The Finish from Smash for a while :P
I get the costumes being an amiibo thing, but putting 60 levels behind $39 worth of toys is just... Bad, imo
Sure, the Splatoon amiibo may get other uses, but I still think it's bad.
