    The Rapid Blaster Pro

Rapid pro is nice and all, being able to get easy kills from a comfy distance, but it takes too much effort to win uphill battles. For cqc fights, the seeker is a nice option to have in your pocket as a last resort if you're good at predicting movement, but if someone is rushing you, you have...

Rapid Blaster Pro Deco: Analysis and Thoughts

I used to run 2 piece of pure dmg up with 1 pure special saver on the stock rb for the bubble but after running all dmg up on rapid pro for so long it's hard to go back. This is coming from someone who uses nothing but rapid blasters. Try it

Rapid Blaster Pro Deco: Analysis and Thoughts

Disruptors suck with the Rapid pro and your wasting your time not running all dmg up gear. Feel better?

Rapid Blaster Pro Deco: Analysis and Thoughts

nope not doing anything wrong. Just being realistic. I'd rather have a ohko bomb in my pocket to panic throw than something that doesn't do much to help you in close range. Maybe I'd like them better with an ink saver/bomb throw up piece of gear, but then I'd have to give up dmg up you know?

Competitive people of splatoon how many hours have you put into the game?

Hasn't moved much from 700 hours since I got a job a few months ago haha...

Rapid Blaster Pro Deco: Analysis and Thoughts

Ya not really feeling it in the 20k points I've used it for so far. Feels like I'm wasting time and ink throwing a disruptors in cqc when I could have potentially got a direct hit and a kill. Seekers are more useful if someone rushes you. I like killer wail, but you can't spam it like other...

Rapid Blaster Pro: Analysis and Thoughts

what are you talking about optimistic ? I'm already pushing 30k points ink'd with the rapid blaster pro, and have been putting those seekers to work, especially at close range. Useless for getting places quick though like has been said. I agree with LimitCrown about ink mines being the worst...

Well even with the patch, "longer range" blasters just aren't going to be getting the cheap kills that they've been getting. Those ohko's happens, but they're too uncommon for it to matter post-patch. On the other hand, there's a ridiculous amount of undeserved kills from rollers, that aren't...

Rapid Blaster Pro: Analysis and Thoughts

granted I was only counting the direct hit marker for the js vs the edge of the splash damage for the rbp, I guess you're right about the js having the most range still. Anyways dual squelcher is no comparison to either of them: http://webm.host/244f0/

Rapid Blaster Pro: Analysis and Thoughts

Played with it some more today. Feels like I got a lot of cheap kills on hammerhead TC with it. Even easier to get kills on long range maps than the rapid blaster. felt even dirty to play with it in some games lol rbp out ranges js's so it's possible that they just sucked with rapid...

Rapid Blaster Pro: Analysis and Thoughts

Hardly a waste if it gets you the kill. If someone gets close to you, throw one at a wall if there's one nearby for a easy kill. You're basically guaranteed a kill if you throw one at someone jumping off a ledge. The best thing about seekers is that you don't have to aim or even know where an...

Blaster Update will decrease Direct Hit damage.

Even if blasters are losing their cheap ohko's, dmg+ is still useful for countering def up in the same way that .52 gal needs dmg up. Those non-direct hit "ohko's" are still going to be prevalent even after the patch if you're running dmg+, since a lot of the time whoever you're shooting at...

How exactly are the long range blasters suffering when the rapid blaster and rapid blaster are not only unaffected by the blaster nerf, but are also getting a buff in rof?

Rapid Blaster Pro: Analysis and Thoughts

Rapid blaster has the edge over this one with bubbler and faster rof, but being able kill people safe and sound from a mile away while still being viable in medium range with good aim is awesome. The increase in firerate post patch is going to be something else. As if rb's aren't underrated enough.
