I tried Splatterhopping a bunch, and at the start of each round, you seem to move twice as fast as everyone else, and still cover more ground. Definitely a trick everyone using the Splattershot should try if they want to get a quick start.

I'm curious how everyone else did in the demo. I personally went 8-2, which I'm only moderately happy about, considering this is everyone's first crack at the game.

I'm not that fast, but I like to think that I'm alright. My school did half mile times, where I got a 2:27, but I could still do better

Watching speedruns and speedrunning games is one of my favorite passtimes, and I think Splatoon will make an awesome speeedgame. Definitely going to try and learn it when it comes out!
