Oh snap, the developers are moving towards a competitive fan base! Please tell me you'll be able to use other controllers besides the game pad in 1v1, as that sounds really dumb (I really dislike the gamepad). Other than that, everything sounds amazing.

Capture the Flag? An infection-type mode where you spray your opponent until they are turned to your side? Possibly a race to the finish, but you are trying to halt your opponent? I really want the infection mode though. That would be amazing.

I'm going to assume a lot of the younger demographic of the Smash Scene (14-17) will be really into the game, and the older not so much. I could be wrong, but you never know.

Nintendo could possibly change this due to fan demand. This is an absolute downgrade compared to what Nintendo has done before, especially with Mario Kart and Smash Bros, so they just have to change it.

I'm alright with maps and outfits, but I'm still deciding with weapons. The problem I have with weapon DLC is that it'll alter the competitive side of the game, if there is one, and it'll make a whole mess in one way or another. If it's weapon skins on the other hand, I'm all good with that.

I want themes that match the squid colors, but have a dark gray or black background. Staring at bright white pages all the time seems to hurt my eyes. Despite the pain I get from this, I still use the blue theme. Also, why'd you get the warning. lol

Going off of Counter-Strike, I do believe anything will be possible. The only reason I see a gun getting banned, is if it basically halts sessions of battle or stops games very early. I have high hopes for Nintendo competitively editing every weapon so that people can have a fair game.

I'm hoping they change their minds and make a way to just play with friends/have custom games and such. This game seems to have a huge load of potential, and another competitive game could drive sales for the game.
