Socal's first Offline Tournament Experience: Nintendo Really Needs to Step Up

I don't know much about that, but I'd hope they are. That's lame. I was hoping that maybe they have been working on a way to get LAN to work. Hopefully they will include it in a later update.

Maxing Out a Single Player's Swim Speed in Rainmaker

Having a dedicated rainmaker holder doesn't always work the best. It's generally better to quickly decide who will be best to use the rainmaker at any given moment. Try composing your team to work with 1 member missing, and have people with good specials/subs lead the rainmaker. If you can...

Socal's first Offline Tournament Experience: Nintendo Really Needs to Step Up

Seeing as how Nintendo has had their own tournaments on streams before, it seems like they should have a LAN mode. I hope they will add some sort of LAN feature in the future.

Skipping for a free Special Charge Up

This doesn't get you a special charge up, it just lets you spread ink more. Special charge is most useful mid to late game because by then your base is completely covered in your own ink, meaning you can only charge your special via covering your enemies' ink. Special charge up makes it so you...

Who is the most technical Squad?

The best Splatoon clans really just need to have good internet, use some sort of voice chat program with little delay, and play Splatoon well. They don't need fancy equipment, they don't need perfect air conditioning, they don't need special chairs. Don't know why you think otherwise.

    Viability of Recon Ability

It's alright. It's obviously best with voice chat and a team, but I'd go for cold blooded anyday.

    Awkward Inkling Skin Color Discussion?

Their race doesn't affect the validity of their claim. If they're black, they're free to feel hurt if people are doing this. But that doesn't mean it's racist. Feeling sensitive to race because of your own mistreatment by racist individuals is perfectly fine, but that doesn't make it racist...

    Awkward Inkling Skin Color Discussion?

I play as an inkling girl with a darker skin tone than I actually have, but it's because I think it's beautiful. I think people of all skin tones and race are beautiful, and it's not racist to appreciate how others look. If you use it purely because you think that the darker tone looks better...

How viable is the Dynamo in competitive tournaments?

That's not how team based shooters work. Read my post if really need more information.

    Rainmaker tips

I think we should have a few more tournaments (not big ones with huge prizes, just smaller ones to continue advancing the meta) with rainmaker in them before we decide if it's a mode that we generally don't want in competitive matches.

How viable is the Dynamo in competitive tournaments?

Most weapons in this game are very dependent on team composition, mode, and map. This isn't like fighting games where it's one on one with fixed characters and stats: there's abilities to take into account, and your team members as well. The dynamo is a great weapon when you find a good way to...

Why do people never take the sound of a weapon into account?

I haven't seen anyone say it wasn't worth using, just that it's not the best way as it's not as often the only way to locate the enemy.

Why do people never take the sound of a weapon into account?

That's TOTALLY what I said. Because I said you can know exactly where the enemy is at all times, and not just when they're already shooting at you from behind. When you're already dead. I never said it was not useful, but compared to other methods, it's not as good for being aware of your enemies.
