    I "mained" a lot of things early on when i started playing splatoon 2, but the first thing that really stuck i think is mini splatling, but it might have been bamboo. Bamboo was at least the first thing i was dedicated to getting better at, mini was just fun at first.

    Ideally people regularly change their builds anyways as their playstyle changes or they get to higher ranks where different things work. I understand tho that isnt for everyone. I dont think 1 new ability would mean too much grinding though

    Yeah unfortunately the game will prioritize jumping to other players over jumping to the bubbler beakon, i might change that as a way to further encourage using spu,its kind of a weird thing anyways.

    Alternatively, you could just stop it from affecting damage entirely, but of course then it would be pretty bad, which is why i said id switch it with cold blooded, which also affected stuff like thermal ink and locating effects from specials. This would also make more sense bc i improved...
