    Personally, I don't think that matters. The reason why I prefer the rapid blaster to normal blasters is all due to range.     I main the rapid blaster, at first mainly due to the mines. However, now that I actually understand the weapon, I've found that it's actually really good at mid range, plus you can get a few nice double splats. [/opinion]
