A new day has begun, leaving Hope wandering around Inkopolis Square as she wonders what to do next. She could always form a team with those other Inklings and Octolings that were discovered in the Deepsea Metro a few years ago, but she's not sure how well that'll go. Her other half, Wish, lay...

(I'll admit, you got me tearing up a bit with that, and you're right. Loss hurts, but even though our friends and family may not with us anymore, they'll always be with us in our hearts and memories.)

Hope and Mac get off the boat once it docks back at Inkopolis. They exit Grizzco and Super Jump back to the neighborhood. Hope enters her house, hoping to get some shut-eye.

"Yeah. What a rush!" Mac says. It seems that Hope is starting to get tired, as she yawns. "望み疲れた..." [Hope tired...] she says.

Wish and Mac also Super Jump to the boat, where Hope takes control. "望み勝ってよかった," [Hope glad won,] she says.

Wish and Mac continue splatting Salmonids for as long as they can. Mac throws a Splat Bomb and Wish fires the Ballpoint Splatling, splatting a few more Salmonids.

Octavio does not actually mind control his army like he did with Callie (and even then, she willingly came to the Octarians). Think of how a military general keeps his troops focused and in line, giving them a beat to march to.

"...oh, snap," Mac simply says. He throws a Splat Bomb towards the swarms to try and dwindle their numbers. Wish fires the Ballpoint Splatling at the swarms.

Wish throws one more Splat Bomb at the swarm, and it explodes, splatting more of the swarm. He and Mac go to splat a Stinger, soon splatting it after a bit. They get two Golden Eggs and deposit them into the egg basket.
