Hey, we get it. However this website is run by and for the community... and it needs ads in order to keep running.

Oh for the love of...
Okay, this will be my last post on this. I've already explained it in far too much detail, but here's another. With the way the other team was playing you could have ran with the Roller, not even using the splash attack, just rolling them over, and then say "See, this his...
That's still not a good solution. What if I don't care for the community's "best" setup? If I don't see the setup I want I'll have to grind it out myself. And even the act of running around the base to maybe see the thing I want will be a waste of time.
Like I said before, I think the best...
How exactly does the Order system work though? I haven't been keeping up recently because I didn't want to see spoilers. If I can order any ability combo I want whenever I want then that would be great. From the Direct I think they said you have to see someone in the Base to order that...
Yup, I agree with you. Some players getting the abilities they want while others do not is not fair or balanced. It's just random. Random elements meant to keep players grinding is not what I wanted from this inventive team shooter. Even the CoDs I've played at least let the grind amount to a...
I guess I was coming at it from only one angle. I agree with the general idea you're presenting, but it's definitely a case-by-case basis. I'd have to experience somethings lack of competitive value and then determine that it shouldn't be used. But my idea of what has value might be different...
Well, I guess its a special case with Smash since the predecessors are extremely similar. While Splatoon is heavily inspired by other shooters, the interplay of the weapons/maps/teamwork and on top of that the Ink mechanics makes it an unknown factor.
Seriously. I haven't even peeked at that thread because of how silly it must be in there. Why are bans being discussed before the game is even being played competitively? Before the game is even out? A particular weapon/map/exploit needs to be demonstrably unfair in a competition before it's...
Grinding. And then you use it to roll a dice. The dice didn't give you what you want from the 24 possible options? Grind some more.
This is a disappointing addition to Splatoon's formula.
I didn't experience it myself but I saw a video of someone trying to throw sticky grenades down past a platform but they got stuck to the platform instead. I did notice its difficult to aim down past platforms with a gun but I think with time I'll be able to do it consistently. We probably just...
The theory of killing them so they have less time to paint is not in doubt (at least by me). As well as the theory of containing them at their spawn to deny access to turf. However, using this video as an example of said strategy is not convincing. These players just didn't know how to push due...
Your skill at aiming and situational awareness are pretty good but this is not a good example of your strategy, mainly because the other team is so bad. If these players had any clue about the game they'd go into squid mode when they saw your laser sight, especially after getting killed by you...
