Strategic

I'm the geekiest geek that ever did geek. I'm a huge fan of Nintendo, a regular D&D player, and also a Star Wars fan.

Ever since I first played Splatoon, I've dreamed of having a huge, 80-plus level single player mode, with more focus on platforming and a HUGE focus on puzzles. You see, things such as sponges, inkrails, moving platforms, and spreaders would make puzzles VERY interesting and fun. They would increase difficulty without having to rely on tough enemies, and would increase enjoyment for more hardcore gamers.

I would also very much like it if there were multiple ways to complete levels in single player, which would add to the replayability. Another thing would be more collectibles besides the Sunken Scrolls, and some blueprints that allowed you to use different weapon classes in single player, such as a Charger, Roller, Slosher, Brush, and Splatling. Making tougher and more complex bosses would also be great. Not that Splatoon's single player isn't any good; it's just too short and too easy. Increasing its difficulty with puzzles, more complex bosses, multiple ways to complete levels, more weapons, and more collectibles would make it more fun without having to increase combat. And, I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to be able to play as an Octoling.

Another biggie for me is the main hub. I want to be able to DO a lot of stuff there, perhaps including 'sidequests'. These 'sidequests' could be simple things, such as "splat five players with Splat Bombs". Maybe there would be a billboard type thing, where players could create and post different challenges such as the example already given, and give rewards to other players for doing this. It would create a more intuitive community, giving the players more ways to interact with each other. A larger hub world to explore and do things in would be AWESOME.

Another thing about the hubworld would be the players' characters. In the first game, other players would appear in the plaza, and you could order their gear and view their level and such. But, what if Nintendo took it to the next level, and allowed players to create entire text for their characters, allowing for NPC interaction with player created characters. Maybe there could be a way to customize what sub and special a weapon has, and customize skins, a;lowing players to create their own 'shops' that appear in the hub. There's SOOOOO much they could do to add depth and activity to the plaza. Allowing players to create and run their own tournaments or Splatfest type events would be AMAZING.

My head is FLOODED with ideas. I'll eventually type out a full paper-type-thing and share it with you guys, although by then it'll be speculation and hopes for Splatoon 3 instead of Splatoon 2.
