I play it for fun. I'm on the Return to Mystery Chapter, but I've been taking a break from it. I think I have a 4 star Laslow (which is an absolute monster), a 4 star Sully I'm training, a 4 star Camilla, and the Virion the game gave me. Everything else is something the game gave me ir 3 stars.
I'm just glad the invincibility specials are gone. It's extremely frustrating to sneak up on an enemy, then get Bubbler'd or Kraken'd right before I could kill them. If they keep one or two specials from the old game, I'd choose Echolocator and Inkzooka. I feel it really isn't a Splatoon game...
Here's my list of where every map is located so far-
Urchin Underpass-Just outside of the city Moray Towers is located (which I will now refer to as Moray City). Somewhere near Hammerhead Bridge.
Walleye Warehouse-One of the many buildings in Moray City.
Saltspray Rig-Somewhere in the middle of...
I have a theory that the building in the top left of the image on Moray Towers is Walleye Warehouse. Both are in a similar-looking city, so it could be another place on the map. If it isn't that specific building, one of the buildings in the area is very likely to be Walleye.

When the original Inkbrush came out, I was terrible with it and left the Brushes for a really long time, favoring shooters. That all changed when the Octobrush came out, I figured I would try the Brush class again and I found my main. Now I main pretty much all Brushes and some of the Rollers
Wow, I would first like to say that what you guys are doing is pretty cool. I might try to explore Port Mackerel and/or Blackbelly Skatepark to find something. Also, small detail, but I'm willing to bet the cargo at Walleye comes straight from Port Mackerel.
I really haven't expanded my use of weapons past my mains, rollers and brushes, but I can tell you Blasters are amazing on Tower Control, specifically the Vanilla Luna Blaster. Ink Mines set up traps for the Tower and the Inkzooka can take out Tower riders in a snap. But if you want to feels more...
Welcome to my world. There are so many instances when I splat someone, then 3 seconds later, I explode out of nowhere, only to have the kill cam focus on the dead Inkling I killed. Another problem is that I play only 30 seconds of a match before I disconnect. That's why I never go onto Ranked...
