I'd bet strong money they weren't. Nintendo doesn't plan DLC out for their games from word go except in extenuating circumstances (like the Smash Bros. DLC and Splatoon, where it's less 'it's not ready', and more 'If we don't ship on time we're dead.') so their DLC tends to both take a while and...

Actual question. I'm something of an android when it comes to memes like this, the Shrek thing, etc. Why's it supposed to be funny? I don't understand where the humor is supposed to be coming from. Every time I see this stuff, it confuses me more than amuses me. I super don't get it.

Considering RL squids are carnivores, probably stuff similar to humans, with a focus more on seafood than beef/pork. Like, fishburgers would be the norm instead of hamburgers and such. I doubt veggies and whatnot would be exceptionally big to them. Edit: Junk food is universal, though.

The manga/anime is actually pretty cute and funny. I've watched a good few episodes. It's charming. It's also anime though so of course Ika-chan has super powers because reasons. Not that she really uses them any, but they're an easy 'get out of jail free' button.

Really wanted it, never expected it. AWESOME.
