it's hard to imagine what could possibly be nerfed about dousers because it already has so many stats that you literally couldn't make worse (namely damage and paint), but i think i would be most heartbroken about a range nerf. please i JUST got a range advantage over squeezer don't take it away...
for me at least i'm not taking it as "third kits are going to happen!!!" and moreso like. before, i was confident there was no chance we'd get third kits. i was fully content and accepting that fate. this is the first time we've had any indication that that could possibly not be the case, so my...
i've always liked the idea of a "Fathership" (or "Grandmothership" for something a bit sillier), based on ink-vac. it's just such a perfect evolution of the mothership idea mechanically, and inkvac lines up perfectly with it
i've never been able to quite work out what i think the way it attacks...
oh yeah also. "Changed the design of some Splashtag banner designs." i find it funny that they're wording this so vaguely, but it seems like we're getting the jackpot removal this update too, which is nice. interested in seeing what the new design will be
yeah i'm fully expecting that the next update won't have any balance changes (the update is gonna have to be in like, 2 weeks max, way too soon for balance changing again anyway), but i hope that we can still expect some balance changes every 1.5 months for at least one or two more seasons
fascinating that they prevented JP from joining tentatek when i've heard far more complaints about the opposite way around. maybe they don't want to prevent NA from joining takaroka because it's so common? and/or i guess it doesn't have "a negative effect on rankings" in JP, from their point of...
i'm fairly sure i encountered OnePotWonder at one point (day one of some new season, can't remember which), but aside from that i don't recall if i've recognized anyone else, at least not in a long time
i definitely think the best solution is to just completely scrap the clash blaster for splatoon 4. however i think there's almost no chance nintendo actually does that, i think they care a lot about preserving content from previous games for the most part. so, i instead started thinking about...
very much not a fan of >50% burst bomb. why do people actually care about double burst at all? i feel like it's the kind of thing where it SOUNDS bad, ohh noooo you get to throw so much AoE hitboxes out there aaahh, but i have NEVER encountered a situation in-game where double burst felt like...
every once in a while i take some time to watch splatoon gameplay frame-by-frame. there's some really subtle UI choices that i absolutely love, like the little flash that happens every time one of your bullets collides with someone, which only lasts 3 frames and is pretty small but definitely...
while tableturf does have its fans, i don't feel like it has enough fans to warrant coming back for splatoon 4. those who do want to stick with it will probably just be able to stick with the splatoon 3 version; i feel like the existing audience for it is already dedicated enough that it...
i've used Strings Attached ever since i got it. it's such a fun idea and theming for an emote and it moves in a really unique way, and the final pose that you end on is a really fun, smug kinda look that i enjoy hehe
i do wonder how much more equally the kits would be used if the specials were swapped. auto/trizooka has enough synergy on its own that i think it could be used a bit more often than auto/zip does, though burst/zip would of course still be the better kit that gets chosen more often
we're kinda...
tbh i could see mist/stamp being very fun on dousers. i thought for a while that it could get ultra stamp and do really well with it, it gives it another defensive option if it gets rushed, gives it a way forward if it needs to push aggressively, and gives it a single trizooka shot for...
a ballpoint-like splatling that has a special property on specifically the first bullet of its charge is very clever; i assume you could do some ballpoint rapid-recharge tech to throw out a lot of them quickly? (though presumably a lot slower than how fast ballpoint itself can spam recharging)...
