I feel like a better option would be for Turf War to be decided by a team covering a specific amount of turf (say 5000p) or having more turf than their opponent at the end of a timer.
I always used to think that the "more modes because players might like a certain mode" argument for multiple gamemodes was stupid, but then I just realized that I probably wouldn't play competitive Splatoon if it was Turf War only (sorry Cobbs). I think that we should start off with all modes...
So, with the big patch coming soon and a hell of a lot of tournies following, I think that we should work to create a basic competitive ruleset. Here's my first draft, it'll probably suck but hopefully it won't be that bad.

You do make a good point regarding Splat Zones and Tower Control. My only gripes are the balance issues (where rollers and chargand the glitchy tower, as I've said earlier. Maybe things are different at A+ regarding balance, is this the case?

Yeah, that'll be awesome. We have to deal with the map changes from Splat Zones to Turf War though, but at least we can get some basic team dynamics going.
