Because it's Splatoon 3, and it's just a really good game in general. I'm an S rank player who's inexperienced and doesn't know a huge amount about the game's mechanics so the tiny details don't affect my life that much, so when there's a balance change I tend to either not notice or not care.

Personally, I've just been focused on the comp side of S3 so I haven't had the time to get too much into the balance and game design aspects outside of small conversations on Discord.
I still have plenty of problems with the game (I don't even feel good using Machine in comp) but I'm just trying to work around them.

Some times people will troll with weapons in solo, but the main problem with it is lack of sufficient communication
