no, i mean, nihongo is the keyboard input to make 日本語. but its not really romanji since you aren't leaving it as "nihongo." QWERTY is the universal keyboard so of course you can't directly input kana by default.
the exception is japanese laptops have subcharacters on the QWERTY keyboard for a direct input method (Q has た on it, for example). But that doesnt apply in your case.
I dont really know since I use the QWERTY method regardless. Trust me, its easier to type nihongo, hit the spacebar, and get 日本語, than it is to learn an entirely new kana keyboard layout. In fact, most Japanese people use the same QWERTY input method I'm explaining to you.
"日本語 is easier then nihongo" its the same thing? how is one easier than the other?
