I've been struggling In solo q and I often get the response "carry harder" but that doesn't really help, what are some other tips ppl don't usually talk abt
Try to keep a level head, SoloQ is like, 80% perseverance, if you find yourself tilting, walk away from the game after that match, go do something else, especially something thats relaxing or productive, doesnt have to be long.
Truth be told its really hard coming from any perspective here since its impossible to communicate with SoloQ teammates. Especially depending on their rank. It really is just hope for the best, if you find yourself on a comp that works really well stay with it. If you have someone throwing or the comp you have is a complete disaster requeue.
i ain't the best out there but my theory is to try to work with your teammates and keep an eye on them as best you can, if you're a frontliner make an effort to stay in your backliner's range during neutral state
Something I always try to think about is how more than likely the other team will be feeling the same way, as in they think their teammates are bad and that they have to “carry”. Basically teams in solo q tend to be very disconnected and if you take advantage of that it can put the other team at a serious disadvantage if they don’t realize quick enough.
Also like others are saying if others don’t help you sometimes you gotta be the one to step up and follow your teammates and try to help with whatever they are trying to accomplish. Obviously sometimes though you just get a bad comp or whatever and there is only so much you can do if you don’t have the raw mechanics to contest the opposing team by yourself.
In solo queue you mostly lack the communication you usually get playing with a team of your friends. You need to pay attention to the fights everyone is taking even without someone calling for help. Two squids are better than one a lot of the time. Being ready to support your team is the most consistent method to solo queue success. Trying just to carry in splats is much harder to do consistently than trying to be a team player.
