anchor/backline weapons?

I was just wondering if people had any tips for weapons to pick up as I've recently switched role from skirmisher/slayer to anchor/support. I know roles aren't fixed in the game but I've just generally found myself more comfy with weapons like z+f, pencil, and ballpoint. any tips would be appreciated! <33
