Depends on your playstyle, really. There are good and bad weapons for specific modes and niches, but it's overall well balanced. If there are some weak ones, they're alts of existing kits. Custom Splattershot Jr. is known to be pretty bad, you rarely see L-3 Nozzlenose and only occasionally see H-3, Splash and Sploosh-o-matic aren't played much, neither are Squelchers, Rapid Blaster/Pro is unpopular, Squiffer and Bamboozler aren't seen a lot either, EVERY kind of slosher is pretty rare, and all kinds of things. On the other end, Splattershot Jr is common, Tentatek Splattershot has a perfect sub/special combination that you'll see a lot, Berry Pro is common, .52 gal is common, Standard and luna blaster are seen often, Splat Charger/Splatterscope and E Liter 3k/Scope is often seen, ALL rollers are common, and ALL splatlings are fairly common. It's a lot of playstyles that all work.Just curious if there is a basic sense of what weapons are good or bad.
And of course, everything GearWax said here is saying is completely up in the air on the sequel, since the meta is still taking shape. Every weapon has something to offer, just go with what you like and master it.Depends on your playstyle, really. Personally, I lean toward the Inkbrush, even though it's pretty unpopular. So pick whatever you want.
