What 4 weapons do you think are the best all around combo to have on a team?

I know it's pretty subjective depending on the skill level of the player with the weapon and of course the map layout. But overall what 4 weapons would you love to have your team use?

For me it's Krak-On roller, E-liter 3k, .52 deco, and .96 cal (or splattershot jr.).

However my team has won the Mall level on a team with 4 rollers. I was shocked I thought we would lose for sure as more than 2 rollers to a gun team is usually a disadvantage but we won with 52%, it was a Christmas miracle lol.

4x Aerospray RGs

Like, seriously. Its no use.

You get the crazy coverage speed of them all and couple it with the mines and never ending inkstrikes. Not to mention they'll win almost every surprise attack possible. If the group can get successive inkstrikes right at match start, the enemy will be so kneecapped that it may be impossible to get a comeback.

Eeeeeeeeeh. The Aerosprays are undeniably great and four of them is indeed a viable option (and one you do see), but I wouldn't call it optimal. The fact that the Aerospray has such a clearly defined weakness means you're putting all your eggs in one basket. A team with better ranged options (Chargers, Splattershot Pros, .96's, Squelchers) would reach the center first and have much more offensive specials coming online as they did so.

I typically prefer much more balanced teams that can cover weaknesses and accentuate strengths. We'll say:

  • One Charger
  • One Roller
  • One long range oriented Shooter
  • One close range/mid oriented Shooter
The exact types aren't super important and will vary a bit depending on the stage and exact team composition, but being flexible and having options is a serious plus.

Too many weapons to decide, really. Some sets would counter others, and etc;. xP
