Im a dedicated Carbon Deco player but ive been playing a lot of Splat Roller recently and I basically see it as a heavy carbon variant that isn't as reliant on its team for paint, but trades its kit power for utility and a stronger main weapon. Im curious, what are others views on these two weapons? I feel like Carbon Deco can thrive with the right weapons on its team, being able to utilize one of the fastest one shots in the game with insane combo potential while VRoller isn't as team reliant and can stay in the enemies base with curling's and bubble but has a slower yet bigger one shot range.

Carbon has crazier multikill potential due to its speed, better poke in disadvantage with burst and a better special for it too. You're right that vroller is more self-sufficient, it's notoriously very hard to move once it's in, I'd consider it. Splat roller also has better aoe since its horizontal is somewhat usable for its falloff and stuff. Both are scary under ledges, both are dangerous in general. It's more just about what you prefer. If you use vroller I'd suggest not taking its vertical for granted, it's extremely good. Then again carbon's is insane too.

it rly depends on who ur playing with bc carbon is better at displacement and is more independant but vroller is better at holding space. if ur team has infinite paint and has tools to get in then vroller is better. if ur team relies more on slayers to displace opponents, carbon is better. neither are rly better than the other
