Confused about Mii changes between two linked consoles (same NNID)

So uh, me and my friend have both had issues with this.
We'd have our miis set to something we like on our Wii Us, but it'd default back to our 3ds instead of transferring over to the 3ds / overwriting it.
Is there any way to make it sync between the two from the Wii U?

Nope, you gotta manually set your user mii on all systems to be exactly the same or it'll cause issues like that.

Funny story there! I had the same issue when I was changing my mii to my beloved eyeless horror, and got confused when I checked my 3DS. My previous mii was gone because of the mismatch. CATHERINE ATE HIM
