What is the courtesy for being invited to another's room through the Nintendo switch/splatoon 2 phone app?

Both me and my wife have been invited to rooms when the time is very inopportune. And I was wondering the protocol. Do we just ignore it, or is there like a quick "not right now" button or something?

Just don't want to inadvertently offend anyone.

I'm not sure how to answer that because I didn't even know anyone used that instead of Discord Ignore it, probably, if it's someone you know surely you have some way of telling them why you declined.

I hate when that happens! Just one more reason why I complain and desperately wish there was someone way we could message friend list people!

If you have some means of contacting them, just let them know you couldn't make it. Otherwise... *shrug*? Maybe they'll understand?
