even spamming the come on! command doesn't draw attention to squid beacons....

I have the same concern. As it is right now, there's no obvious way of knowing when a beakon has been placed. I don't look at the GamePad most of the time when I'm alive, and I use it the most when I'm dead. It would be great if an icon flashed on the screen showing the location of a beakon when it's been placed.

People are starting to use Squid Beacons quite a lot... not sure what you're on about.

Squid beacons, in a solid location, on splatzones are phenomenal.

The only time I don't use a beacon is when I feel like it's in a questionable location. For the most part though, I use it quite a lot.

If it's in a good spot tucked away from the main area, I'll squid jump. If it's in a bad place with a lot of enemies, I won't. Beacons can be easily targeted, making the one who warps there gets instant killed if anyone sees someone squid jumping there.
