Fighting against Bows

How do ya'll fight Bows. I generally struggle against it and want to see how other people approach fighting against them. I feel I shouldn't struggle but I always seemed to get clapped hard.

bombs and specials in general just help if you want to get rid of a backline zooka is your best answer ngl

Usually Blasters have somewhat an easy time fighting Bows if they can be set up properly and being able to poke/kill them
It usually depends on weapons but Splatlings can somewhat struggle with it due to increased range but weapons like Splattershot and Splash can be able to take it out with their subs and specials, usually just depends on the weapon

Well, as a bow main

Shooters/Brushes/Dualies: Abuse your movement, you can easily squidroll and make popsicles useless
Blasters: Go under ledges
Chargers: Your projectiles are far faster, use your charge hold and that to your advantage and range advantage aswell
Brellas: Shield.

No specific tips for other classes that arent obvious, if you have a bomb use them, same with specials.

Another thing: Quit underestimating tri stringers, if you just run towards a good bow youre gonna get one shot, be creative, or wait for help. a majority of my kills come from people just running straight towards me because they arent scared of a stringer like they are a liter.

Yeah splatlings are really horrific fighting bows, you have to deal with popsicles that interupt charging and a projectile speed difference you just gotta wait for help

adding on, like blasters we get put in a REALLY bad spot if we dont have a charge ready and you are close up to us, its hard to run away as a stringer which is what makes blasters such heavy counters to us

Mhm but chargers have a bit easier time getting away from these situations due to having a charge hold and a solid line of paint which allows them to run

i play splash

oh that's probably a little rough. id run like, 2 subs of sub power if you arent already. the range helps your bursts poke them. bow kinda eats crab for breakfast unless you get set up before them.

What do you find yourself dying to from them? One shots? Or the popsicles (exposive dart things)

Best advice I can give is not to stay stationary in obvious locations, always be on the move and be ready to move as soon as they damage you at all
