Hi Explosher Players

Picked up the explosher a month ago, and it's now one of my TWO favorite main weapons in the game (along with inkbrush)! I'm seeing a nice bit of these weapon appreciation/discussion threads so I figured I'd be fun to make an explo one, cuz I'm really wondering how many people enjoy this weapon in Splatoon 3 as much as I do :)

Nice, a fellow inkbrush and explosher enjoyer. I play mostly inkbrush, but explo is definitely my favorite backline and my favorite out of the sloshers.
I find it really sad that between snipewriter and dread wringer, the weapon has kind of lost some of the things that made it special :c, I hope they buff it eventually

Hi, it's me, the X-Plosher.

Joking aside, I loved Explosher the moment I gave it a spin in Splatoon 2. Good support, great range, excellent painting, and being able to ignore walls and cover was the cherry on top.

But then comes Splatoon 3, where Explosher just kind of... exists. The new base kit is lovely support kit, but the weapon itself feels like it's been powercrept. Here's the Tri-Stringer: arcing shots, greater range, OHKO on directs, and can fend for itself with half-ca. Here's the Stamper, whose charged projectiles (believe it or not) have the same range as the Explo. Crab Tank? Armored Explosher on the go.

Anyway, like Pinkie said, I do hope Explosher gets some buffs. Ink efficiency, a range boost, might be daring to wish for a slight damage boost for more reliable indirect KO's.
