I actually get way more disconnection errors in lobbies when Splatfest is live compared to worldwide

The talk about the Japanese ruining their matches by saying something like stop making the game lag already just bothers me because I don't think that's always the case. It happens to me sure but I don't think it happens that often. I think Splatoon players around the world just need better connections, because if it's like SSB4 where if one player has a bad connection everyone else will suffer as well. As of result I get kicked out of lobbies way more frequently than I really should be. Anybody had this experience when playing in Splatfests?

oh totally. Last Splatfest I actually participated in I had lots of disconnects, thankfully they were Results screen ones, which don't do anything other than give you a shock

Last weekend, when Japanese players were gone for splatfest, I actually had more lag than usual. Nothing game breaking, but I found it weird.
