i can smell s+ but i need help

hi, i've been playing a lot of splatoon recently (which isnt really any different from usual) and i finally have enough points in s rank to do a rank up battle. problem is, i'm too scared to actually start one. i feel like as soon as i start a rank up battle i'll go 0-3, even though im usually able to win. does anyone have advice for getting over rank up battle nerves?

tbh just play to have fun and seek to improve over time as well

Fear of playing is only gonna stop progress making rank and improvement wise

In S1, I had no resources and teetered in and out of S+ several times and was afraid to play sometimes too for similar reasons

But continuing to play in general is how you're gonna improve so it's okay to lose if you learn what you can do better and accept when a match might be out of your hands because it will happen sometimes

If you see yourself losing with a weapon a lot, shift to one of your other mains, there's no hate in picking a quote on quote "easy" weapon.

Just do it. I put off a rank up for so long last season by the time I did it it was so late in the season it really didn't even matter. I won that rank up easily too so then I was just more irritated that I had put it off for so long. You wont get anywhere if you are scared to fail and sometimes you need to fail in order to succeed.
