I noticed something disturbing...

I just did a match in Turf War. We had a full house going, until the match actually started and I saw that my team was short one member. It was 3vs4. One person on our team must've lost connection or bailed. However, we somehow managed to win anyway. BUT...at the end of the match, I noticed the one person that bailed still got points! Usually they receive 0p at the end, but this person got exactly 300p. What!? And I know it was the person that bailed because they had 0 kills and 0 deaths while everyone else had something. Does the new update reward people who didn't fight? How does that even work?

When you win you get a 300p bonus, they just got the winning bonus is all.

i'm pretty certain that that person didn't receive the points. when you disconnect it counts as a loss, e.g. rank/mood goes down. my guess is that the game has to figure out what number to display on the screen next to the player, so it thinks "oh, this player got 0 points, and this player was on the winning team, so we display # on points + 300 win bonus."

It's just that I've never seen that happen before the update. If someone bailed and we still won, that person's score would still display as 0p

No, that was never the case. Everyone on the winning team gets +300p, even if they scored 0. However, because that person wasn't connected, they didn't actually receive anything.

I can also confirm that 300 points were displayed for the player that disconnected on the winning team before the update hit. It always was that way.
