For me I’d say Animal Crossing on GameCube. Since you gotta play it for a while daily, and it also includes NES games inside.

If having internet is no issue, then yes Splatoon 2 because well that's obvious.

But if it is, RimWorld. RimWorld is my favourite PC game (Well assuming mods but I'll consider i have those already downloaded for this scenario).

To give my "not Splatoon" answer... Frankly League of Legends. Now I hate League of Legends for the most part, but I still have over some six thousand hours of it. It's just always there, and friends of mine are always playing it no matter how garbage it gets. I'm just sayin' it'd be something to do for the rest of infinity since it's free and Rito regularly releases new content and it has some insane player base.
