Ink DLC?

Do you guys think that there will be a DLC option to have certain ink colours?
Sorta like how Ranked has more colour options (from what I know)?

It'd be pretty stupid if certain ink colours would be DLC-only but I'd totally buy $50 worth of ink

It's a possibility, but for some reason I don't see it happening. Would definitely like to have additional colours.

I don't think they would charge us just for ink. If they did add more they would just include it in an update.

Ranked does not have unique ink colours, although single player does. How would paid ink colour DLC even work? It's not like you could be a different colour to the rest of your team.

The game already has 22 unique ink colours (plus the Splatfest-only ones), there isn't really room for many more.

They covered the entire spectrum with ink colors as it is. Maybe just give an option on what color team you want in all games. Considering that all it is it just a color swap.

Although I do think that there should be more colors, because I feel like they left out some colors that could fit with Splatoon.

If the added an option to choose your ink color and would have a small price for it ($0.99) I would be super down for buying it.

You can already choose your ink colour with the "Colour Lock" setting on the GamePad when in the Plaza - it will lock you to whatever colour you currently are. It's meant for colourblind users, but anyone can use it.

Also that would be a really lousy thing to charge money for.

Ranked does not have unique ink colours, although single player does.

Normal battles have only eight colors used in total, while Ranked matches contain others such as dark blue, dark purple, a more pure yellow, and pastel green. Some of these (like the above-mentioned Pastel Green) are also used in Octo Wars.
