Inkling Cadet
Hello everybody and welcome to Lone Wolf Splatting, or LWS for short. This is a tournament for those of you who don't want to rely on a team to win and want to play Splatoon alone. (Even though it is a team based game :p) This will be a weekly based tournament up to a certain date. The event will be on every Saturday starting on the 2nd of April and finishing on the 4th of June 2016.
Players will all have a score starting at 0. As you win 1v1 matches against other players, you gain points. However if you lose a match, you lose a certain amount of points similar to the current solo ranked system. Challenging someone below your rank and winning will result in you winning less points and they losing less points, however, if the lower rank wins against the higher rank, the lower rank gains more points then usual and the higher rank will lose more points then usual. You may challenge anyone you want, but that person has the rights to refuse or accept. Refusing more then 4 matches in a row from various challengers will have you disqualified though.
Win against same rank = +5 points
Loss against same rank = -3 points
----------------------------------------------------
Win against lower rank = +2 points
Loss against lower rank = -8 points
----------------------------------------------------
Win against higher rank = +8 points
Loss against higher rank = -1 point
The games will be best of 3 to keep the tournament short and flowing. If you win 2 games, you've automatically won

There are no set maps and modes to pick. You and your opponent may agree on any map and mode.
No bullying/Harassment/Racism/Sexism/Homophobic ect. You're here to play and enjoy yourself, not to cause trouble.
Don't bash other challengers playstyle or choice of weapon. The meta as of now is quite balanced and all weapons have strengths and weaknesses.
Be honest and report the actual win or loss. If you have a phone or capture card to prove your win, please send pictures and proof.
Same clans members cannot cheat the scoreboard by challenging each other over and over again or it will seem as you are trying to cheat your way to the top.

It is highly unlikely that there will be a D/C in a 1v1. However, if someone does D/C, you may get one chance at replaying that match. If you D/C a second time, you will need proof if you want to replay again. If you are constantly D/C'ing, the game will end and no one will gain or lose points. Try playing another persona and if you are D/C'ing all the time, you will need to sit that tournament out.
If you challenge a player with minor lag, please let the other person know so they can sort it out. It is usually caused with other devices left on and such, you may retry the match again. However, if the person's lag is completely unplayable, the person with the lag will have to sit the tournament out that week. If they continue to bring lag to the next week of the tournament, they may have to be disqualified.
You may only challenge a player three times or you will be under suspicion of cheating. However, if there's there's only two people with the same rank only, you may challenge each other as much as you want.
Check in will start 10 minutes before the tournament starts. If you can't make a tournament, there isn't a big penalty for that other then you losing out on potential points.
Happy splatting. :)
