Making Sub Power and Special Power up ACTUALLY GOOD

Splat bomb: Stay the Same
Suction bomb: flies faster in the air, among with its original effect.
burst bomb: stays the same
Beakon: Stay the Same
Autobomb: moves faster, has better turning, explodes faster. also has original effect.
curling bomb: charges faster, moves faster, deals more damage when hitting with bomb. original effect no longer present.
fizzy bomb: stays the same, already strong lol
toxic mist: drains ink faster, lasts longer + old effect
ink mine: deals more damage by indirect + old effect
Wall: has less velocity and more control of where it lands. (idk i dont like wall)



give me some ideas below idk

Heh, all the bombs technically move faster with the ability... though setting quicker traps with Suction Bomb would be amusing, I hear ya.
To me, Squid Beakon's optimal power is too dependent of having special power. nnuuuuuuhhhh sub power up.

Remember the splatoon 1 bomb range up? ya know, the ability that does nothing without disruptor, point sensor, or airborne bombs? What would happen if it was extended to all subs (e.g. curling, fizzy, wall), even extending Angle Shooter's length (if the rebound becomes useful) and letting you plop Ink Mine and Squid Beakon eight feet from your character on the same floor?

What other criticisms do ya have about the Sub Power and Special Power abilities yaself? Do they pale in the face of sub/bomb defense up? They can't save low-tier specials in the slightest? I'm quite curious.

Fizzy Bomb's explosions get bigger and track opponents better when hitting an opponent, Sloshing Machine and Luna Blaster mains rejoice.

Curling Bomb - Moves faster and charges faster so you don't have to slow down your gameplay as much; shouldn't need a ton of sub power up.

Autobomb - Larger detection radius maybe?

Toxic Mist - Increases duration and throw distance so you can hold chokes for longer. I don't think the drain effect should be increased, just make it harder to roll out of (maybe negative intensify?).

Ink Mine - Should take less power up to make it larger. Maybe the detection radius doesn't grow as much so you have to be further inside to activate it?

Torpedo - Increases travel speed when locked on so it lands more, or reduce lock on time so it primes faster.
