I'd prefer they kept anything Mii or Wii(remote) related to an absolute minimum in Splatoon. It's probably about time to move on from all that and look forward to new and different conventions in Nintendo games.

They could but I'd rather they weren't tacked onto the game. I'd like to see them make the octopuses playable.

Nah, their biggest possible appearence here would be as markers on each save file so you know which one is which. (Like Super Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime 3.)
