New & need help

Hi!
So I recently had to reset my sons wii u. After I did this I downloaded splatoon again and he is back to the start. Although on the splatoon website when I log in it says that his stats are where he was before I reset it. Ok just wondering if anyone knows how to get the old profile back. Thank you very much.

All save data is stored on the Wii U, Nintendo doesn't save anything online unfortunately

So all the progress is gone? When I log on to Splatoons website it says that the level is 24 but on the wii u it says level one?

Yes, the website just has statistics, it doesn't have any actual save data sadly
