hey, I'm new so I'm hoping I posted this in the correct place. But, is there a point to doing Octo Valley? Like do I get anything besides the enjoyment of playing it and maybe getting the hang of the game more?

You get the Octoling gear and Hero Suit gear. And fun, really.

You also get the Sunken Scrolls (if you find them) which give some interesting lore.

You also get to save the Great Zapfish! We all know we can't live without that.

But in all seriousness, it comes with weapon blueprints after every boss, and some sweet gear.

Other than the campaign, you get the zapfish for the lobby and blueprints for weapons. You still have to be higher level for the blueprints, though.

i beat the first world... not extremely fun but the boss battle was cool
