Playing a ton of Dread Wringer any tips?

Just reached 4 stars with Dread and wanted to pick this weapon up as a secondary weapon, any tips of using this in battles?

what other weapons do you usually play?

it has amazing paint, but has trouble painting for itself in a fight, so make sure that areas that you control are painted well for when the fight goes to that area.

it doesn't have the same "trail" hitbox with weaker damage that slosher does, both sloshes are ~45 damage for their entire duration, so keep that in mind.

hitting both sloshes does 90 damage, and it's super easy for someone to have taken 10+ damage without even realizing. the weapon is great at moving in for the kill on a wounded teammate after a teammate lost a 1v1

suction bombs are good for controlling space, but not quick damage. anticipate where your enemies will be and throw them there, or use them to threaten a large space.

reefslider isn't ideal, but in some scenarios it can instantly pop a rainmaker shield if it's being contested. it's also good at cleaning up wounded opponents, with it's massive hitbox which does 70 damage at minimum
