For those of you who play with pro controllers - has anyone had issues with the left joystick starting to drift or otherwise die?

I've had to replace the analog stick on mine about 4 times now. The issue that I keep on seeing is that my character will start either walking on its own (very slowly, indicating a low analog value) with the stick in the center, or won't move to peak speed with the stick maxed-out (which makes my character walk when they should be running). I'm fairly sure it's due to the well-documented issue of plastic gall getting between the pot wiper and conductor. Very frustrating when it pops up randomly during the middle of a match. I also know at least one person who has been suffering from joystick drift recently which has caused them to miss shots or otherwise be cheated out of splats in key moments.

After blowing through a bunch of stick assemblies I finally replaced mine with a hall effect module, which I tested inferior circularity as opposed to the OEM pots. I also installed metal caps to address the galling issue. I don't notice a difference so far...but that's a sample size of 1. Has anyone else suffered from dead left sticks? How have you dealt with them?
