Ranked is actually easier in higher Rank

So i played lots of Ranked today and i really had issues in the B- and B area because my Team was kinda meh~ But when i reached B+ i had a 7 Win Streak and got into A- very very fast. I also switched weapons between those wins so i didnt have the same team all the time. I think B+ is the Area where people finally know how to play because to get to B+ you need to know how to win with a....weird team.

Too long to read: Rank B is the worst but everything above is fun and actually "competetive" and not "totally unbalancend"

What are your Ranked experiences so far and did anyone else have those "Rank B nightmares" ?

I basically had that all through C+, from being 5 points from B- to losing 7 games in a row, and always being on top of my team...but just lose in the end.

I feel like any player who will try ranked will go on a huge loss streak because of their team at some point. I had that happen to me, I started ranked with a 20 win streak, got to A- and received a 15 lose streak because of my teammates and demoted down to B.

I just recently got back to A- because I took a short break. I played a game just now where I went 24-7 in Urchin Underpass and my team still lost. The game was still pretty close though.

But I can agree with you, my recent games actually felt pretty close instead of a complete blow over.

I would call them less frustrating but definitely not easier. As players get better in the higher ranks it definitely takes a different level of thinking to succeed. Mentally keeping track of things like friendly/enemy map movement, positioning, numbers, gun types, reaction time. It's definitely a whole other world from the casual playlist/lower ranks.

it's easier because you have to throw a lot harder to lose when you're carrying since you aren't taking the entire team's weight

I mean sure, the b-rank trench does weed out most of the people who don't fully understand how to play, but you do still need to pull more than your weight to reach A and eventually A+

Maybe the B area is so hard because its kinda the "middle" . Lots of "bad" players combined with a few people who know how to play

more likely because B-rank players don't know what they're doing wrong and don't recognise the times where a death was not necessary or a push was possible

people fixate on their k/d spreads and then wonder why their brute forcing the objective isn't working

  1. Queue a ranked match
  2. Play well
  3. If you lost, just leave
  4. If you won, keep going
  5. Try to stay in lobbies as you rank up because you won't be matched with higher people
It's silly how easily you can exploit this. Kind of lame, but it still works. On one Wii U I made it to Rank B+ in just about 2 hours in a lobby full of C- players. On the other Wii U I've just been smurfing.

A funny trend with ranked games in general are the streaks you can go on. Big winning streak, and then lose it all in one day.
