S-BLAST Discussion/Tips Thread

As a person who mains S-Blast, I would like to have other mains (or people who generally play it) post about their experiences using the weapon.

I'll start off with a question, do you prefer the long range of short range mode of the weapon and why?

I usually tend to prefer the Long Range mode of S-Blast, particularly because of the Burst Bomb combo reminds me of the Grim Range Blaster, even if it's harder to pull off, it's quite satisfying when you get it.

Although it kinda depends with the Short Range mode, it comes in handy on maps like Flounder and Humpback for example.

While the adaptability of short to long range is what makes the weapon good, I feel like the long range mode is what makes the weapon shine. The incredibly high shot velocity makes it so that you barely have to lead your shot and gives the enemy less time to react.

The short range can be good if you just skill diff the enemy but at higher levels if you don't direct your first shot they can just shred you while you set up a second indirect, which defeats the purpose of having different matchups depending on the mode.
