Your not the only one who thinks that .;)

I've been getting into the Nozzlenose recently and it's a really good weapon, just underrated. Disruptors are just amazing, especially against rollers and blasters. I also feel that the normal Nozzlenose works best in rainmaker since it pretty much turns the enemy rainmaker carrier into a free splat for you or your team, but it' still does pretty well in Tower Control and Splatzones as well.

I wanted bomb range up in my current Nozzlenose build as well but I just don't have the gear with the rolls I want on them, so I'm just planing to wait until after the NA splatfest before rerolling. Until then I'll just settle with the current build I have now which is this:

:head_vis000: :ability_runspeed: - :ability_quicksuperjump:
:clothes_tes003::ability_coldblooded: - :ability_inkrecovery::ability_damage::ability_inkrecovery:
:shoes_sht002::ability_inkresistance: - :ability_inkrecovery::ability_inkrecovery::ability_defenseup:

When I was B rank, I tried out the L-3 Nozzlenose in turf war. i thought it was an ok gun, but I wasn't really interested in using it. The next day I took it into ranked accidentally. Splat Zones Skatepark.

I went 13-4 and we won. Since then it is the only weapon I bring into ranked. I did solo rank with this only until I got to S rank and I've come to absolutely love the L-3 Nozzlenose. I've become rather invested in seeing this weapon develop and it makes me happy to see more people starting to enjoy it.

It currently sits at the top of my weapon usage by a large margin

Great to see some people really do appreciate the weapon.

I think run speed up is a must on the l-3, out manoeuvre so many people in 1on1s just with a few subs.

I personally run 1 bomb range up[ main always, allows me to easily pick off chargers by following up the disruptor with a killer wail.

The nozzlenose is also a pretty good counter to the tentatek and 52 gal, along with all the short ranged weapons.

Been alternating between these 2 loadouts for a while now and still not too sure which I prefer.

I would like to get at least 2 ink saver subs on the t shirt and 2 run speed up subs on the sandals.

I still haven't been able to reroll perfect blue moto boots, I love my pirate tee the way it is atm.

Regular L-3 is really good and definitely better than the L-3D one, though L3-D is easier to use because of it's kit. Managed to get to S+ with the L-3 the other day and I can see this thing being high tier, just falling short against the top tiers. Great weapon overall and amazing kit. Really, the only thing that's lacking is more range to fight the longer ranged weapons like the 96 gal and sspro, and it doesn't have anything abusive, except maybe the disruptor into wail combo, but you can't really spam that so not really.

Kinda funny that when the L-3 first got released, I thought it was garbage because of how hard it was for at the time. I gave it several tries and still hated it, then recently I can finally aim with this thing so could finally started putting in work.

For my gear setup, I just stack lots of walk speed and ink recovery while still using cold blooded and ink resistance. My current setup has 1 main, 2 subs for run speed and 4 ink recovery subs. I might try using some bomb range for my disruptors tho. Ideally, something like 1 main bomb range, 5-6 run speed subs, and the remaining for ink recovery sounds ideal to me.

I've actually seen L-3's used a decent amount and never thought they were bad weapons as some might claim, but I can't see myself ever really using them. I don't like the burst fire n having to press the trigger repeatedly, and the sudden run speed acceleration between shots throws off aim thus I lose confrontations I'd win had I been using any other shooter. And sometimes I swear it takes more than 4 hits to kill people. Also doesn't help that I'd rather use the Custom Jet Squelcher over the Dolphin version, and while the original version currently has the niche of best Disruptor weapon, that'll soon be challenged by the Zink Mini Splatling and the Bamboozler MK II.

You can always try and strafe by locking the camera with y, makes it a lot easier to aim. It pretty much removes that little jerk in between shots.

But alas I'm a scrubby stick control user. :L
