Special Rules Tourney
Spectator Required for all Teams
5 v 5 is a new tournament that sets out to be just that. With the addition of spectator mode in Splatoon 2, there are new opportunities to be seen. A spectator is required for each team, and thus gives teams a chance to analyze and plan. While an overseer won’t always be readily available for most tournaments, it can be a good learning opportunity to see what needs to be worked on!
Spectators are encouraged to communicate with their teams. Viewing from the other team’s perspective, or readily watching flanks. They are the eyes in the sky!
Rules of the tourney are standard, and will be enforced to ensure time limits.
5 v 5 is a test tourney, but may be reoccuring.

Double Elimination
Best of 3 Beginning Rounds
Best of 5 Semi Finals
Best of 7 Finals
Losers bracket has to beat winning bracket twice to place first.
Maps have been hand selected for ultimate diversity.
