I totally called that the weapons would release either next week or the week after, I expect Japan is getting a Splatfest announced tomorrow. Also, S+ is getting its own initial Splatfest Power now. Anyway there's also this:


Looks like Nintendo UK has revealed the other 2 weapons: a new Mini Splatling and a new Dynamo. This update looks hype, since what with the weapon and Inkstrike adjustments, the game could be shaken up quite a bit. So this is the list of weapons for Volume 1:

Wasabi Splattershot
Berry Splattershot Pro
Fresh Squiffer
Permanent Inkbrush
Slosher (no name thus far, assuming it'll be Tropical Slosher based on colour scheme)
Mini Splatling (White for whatever reason)
Bamboozler (Brown, more like dried Bamboo)
Dynamo Roller (has a Rainbow gleam to it)

An interesting set of weapons, with 2 of the 8 recieving Kraken. The Dynamo needs a decent set to be more aggressive, such as Burst Bombs for the sub, and either Inkzooka or Bubbler for the special. Things are certainly going to get interesting, and Wednesday cannot come soon enough.

The new slosher could get Sprinkler or beacons with killerwail. I for myself would like to see beacon with bubbler - full support slosher, haha.

If the dynamo gets burst bomb/bubbler, people will forget about the nerf and go extreme-salt mode (I for one will be done with lyf) also #Freshsquifferhype

The Dynamo needs a decent set to be more aggressive, such as Burst Bombs for the sub, and either Inkzooka or Bubbler for the special.

Oh, boy, if that's the set, I might have to try to get used to its slow movement. (and that design is already looking really nice) I sort of doubt it, though, Bubbler/Inkzooka is exactly the Carbon Roller's, so there's not much difference between the two. I was kind of under the impression they made Bubbler to try to be support, even though it has all its other purposes, but if not, that could be a really cool weapon.

The Dynamo will probably feature a bubbler as it's an offensive weapon a defensive special works well and the bubbler is short and can be hit back
