So how are multiple ranked modes going to work?

So new modes are coming but how exactly will they work. It seems they'll all be ranked so the playerbase for Ranked may very well be divided but Nintendo's actions till now show they don't want this to happen. I'm thinking then that modes will rotate which will bring Ranked mode players back to Turf War when a mode they don't like is in rotation but who knows have your say and vote in the poll
