Is anyone having the same issue, this is pissing me off to know end, and people are watching like wtf is going on with this game. When I did my review before the game had no issues now its having a tone with the addition of rank mode, this is really pissing me off.

Are you playing on a wireless or wired connection.

I've been meaning to make a thread about this but haven't gotten around to it until now.

Are we really sure Splatoon runs on dedicated Nintendo servers? With client-side hit-detection and the way the lag works in this game I would assume that the games are hosted on user Wii U's und Nintendo server do nothing but matchmaking / lobbies. I notice most of the lag when playing with japanese players, but why would a dedicated Nintendo server spawn a gameserver instance in Japan if there's only 2-3 Japanese players in a particular game. So if I'm right and you're unlucky your games might've been hosted by playerss with bad wifi, bad internet connection, download / torrent running over the same connection, dorms, whatever ...

I had a bunch of DCs myself but I planned to buy an ethernet adapter before Splatoon was released. I had in my mailbox on Saturday after I played all of Friday on a wireless connection, I had only a handful of DCs after going wired!

If you're serious about gaming . and it seems that you are since you're streaming - DO NOT ever go wireless, you're just asking for problems.

I've only had it happen twice on wireless, and I have Time Warner.

I agree. Go wired, and never look back.

EDIT: before I moved my TV, I used to use this guy:

http://www.amazon.com/HDE-Ethernet-...ref=lh_ni_t?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3V6BK4D0HKA8F

Works flawlessly.
