Oh no no, you did nothing wrong! I was just noting to myself that there were differing opinions about the matchmaking between different people. I've heard and read from some that it's a bit of a dumpster fire; other's I've heard it's relatively similar to Splatoon 1. But since the opinions differ greatly, I can't really form a decent understanding about the matchmaking until I actually play it for myself.
