Sparkling Weapons?

It occurred pretty often to me that seemingly random players' weapons glister in the scene when both teams are introduced before a match.
I don't think that's just some graphic effect but rather tied to the "MVP" who won most recent matches.
Whenever I had a pretty long win streak (Luna TC in the B ranks), at least my weapon had this short sparkle.

Oh really? That's interesting, I never noticed that! I'll have to keep an eye out.
